Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We want to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund/Returns Policy outlines your rights and the process for returning products, in compliance with Australian consumer law.

Consumer Guarantees

North Coast Boating Centre acts out of good faith and under the The Competition and Consumer Act 2010. If for any reason/s you are unhappy with your product or service we will endeavor to rectify the problem in accordance with the Act. 

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from purchase date to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You will need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the goods you purchase:

• Are faulty or defective,
• Do not match the description or sample,
• Are not fit for purpose as described by the seller,
• Do not meet any express warranties given at the time of sale.

These rights are not affected by our store policies, and we encourage you to contact us if you believe there is an issue with your order.

Change of Mind / Exchange

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind. However, please note:

• We are not required by law to offer a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind.
• Item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.
• If we offer a change of mind return or exchange, this will be at the discretion of NCBC.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment, this may take a few days to process.

Online orders – Once your return is received and inspected, we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and follow the process mentioned above.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Accuracy

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to written content, video content, product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information as we see fit and without notice.
